Bible Study Fellowship in June: The Righteous Will Live by Faith

On June 29, 2024, Paris Immanuel Church hosted a bible study fellowship centered on the theme, “The Righteous Will Live by Faith,” featuring two Bible study sessions.

The first Bible study on this day of the bible study fellowship explored Romans 1:17 through the end of Romans 2. The preacher explained these verses in-depth, addressing the gravity of sin and the human condition apart from God. She spoke about humanity’s pursuit of earthly things and idol worship as attempts to fill the spiritual void. The message also delved into the concepts of godlessness and wickedness, leaving the audience with profound and reflective questions to ponder.

The second session focused on Romans 3 and 4, emphasizing that salvation comes solely by faith and the grace of God, as revealed through Jesus Christ. Before discussing salvation, the preacher highlighted the sinful nature of humanity. Drawing from Romans 6:23 and 5:18, she explained that Jesus brings eternal life and justification. Justification, being declared righteous before God, occurs through faith. As outlined in Romans 3:21-23, though all have sinned, Paul reveals that righteousness is now attainable through faith in Jesus Christ.
